For this Winter season, we don't have any real cruising plans. But we are getting out for day trips on nice days. We have twice circumnavigated Bainbridge Island, which is a "three hour tour (a three hour tour!)." We took out good friends Tom & Kathy that had never seen the island from a boat other than the ferry. Came across this brand new commercial fishing vessel. Captain called me to advise they had a net in the water. They were doing sea trials. Took our daughter for a cruise too! Last time we were on a boat together it was our 21' family ski boat. Ah, if only it didn't rain every day in Seattle, right? Angela got some nice shots of herself for Instagram. Sporty little Ranger Tug enjoying a fine January day. This last shot isn't from the boat, it's from our backyard. Such interesting lighting, I just had to throw it in for you.

Very special to welcome Will and his wife on board Mahalo. Will is the investment banker that helped me sell my software company. I had known him for 5 or 6 years before entering into a contract with his firm. He never pressured me to move forward until we were ready.
The "process" as it is known, went down exactly like he said it would. And partially because his firm as such a strong reputation for only representing excellent companies, we had many great options for selling to private equity firms. This sale is the sole reason we can afford a boat like Mahalo. That makes Will a VIP for sure. If you have a mid size company you want to sell, get in touch with me and I'll connect you with Will. His firm is the best for mid sized companies. And of course we had a couple of Manhattans as that was our go to drink when going out to dinner with all the prospective buyers and so on. Was a great day having him aboard. |
